Over the past decade, the Vestal Central School District began implementing new State learning standards and a variety of complementary initiatives in almost every subject area. At Vestal, we have been working hard to ensure that our students have access to the best curricular and instructional programming. It takes time (often as much as 3-5 years) to fully implement a new instructional initiative. By the Spring of 2020, many of our instructional programs were nearing maturation. However the pandemic disrupted that process. As we look to the next three years, our goal is to recover to the point at which a major academic takeoff is once again possible.
