Vestal HS seniors win awards in Congressional Art competition
Alyessa Bolander, Sophia Chiu, and Taylor BrysonCongratulations to senior artists Sophia Chiu, Alyessa Bolander and Taylor Bryson! They captured first, second, and third in the Congressional Art Competition. Each will receive a Congressional Award, and Sophia Chiu and a guest are invited to attend the National Reception in Washington, D.C. on June 20, 2023.
Sophia's artwork will be on exhibit in the Capitol for one year. The pieces by Alyessa and Taylor will be on display in the Broome County Office building in downtown Binghamton.

This annual nationwide high school arts competition has been sponsored each spring by members of the House of Representatives since 1982. It provides an opportunity to encourage and recognize the artistic talent of students in our Congressional District and across the nation.
