Two FBLA members selected for NYS FBLA Honor Society

Vestal High School Principal Dawn Young is pleased to announce that two students have been accepted into the New York State Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Honor Society!

We applaud seniors Ameet Ashok and Banshika Mangal on this recognition. Membership in the NYS FBLA Honor Society is one of the highest accolades that can be awarded to a member of an FBLA high school chapter. Vestal High School’s Future Business Leaders of America chapter was established in 2015. Both Ameet and Banshika have been FBLA members for four years. Ameet is Vestal HS FBLA chapter President and a New York State FBLA Officer. Banshika serves as Vice President of the Vestal HS FLBA chapter.

The New York State FBLA Honor Society was formed last year to recognize students that uphold academic excellence while displaying positive character, leadership and service.

“Vestal High School students continue to demonstrate leadership,” said Principal Dawn Young. “Induction into the business honor society is a reflection of the quality of these students’ contribution to our school and larger community. I am proud of their accomplishments and commitment to representing Vestal at the State level. Thank you to Mrs. Mezzadonna for developing our Future Business Leaders of America!”

Ameet and Banshika will be inducted at the NYS FBLA Leadership Conference coming up April 19 – 21, 2023, in Rochester, New York. In addition, 14 Vestal HS FBLA students, including Ameet and Banshika, will be competing in the New York State FBLA Leadership Conference!
