Vestal Golden Bear Grace Haven, daughter of Christine and Todd Haven of Vestal, signed her national letter of intent to play field hockey with Division II Bloomsburg University. The signing will took place on Thursday, January 12, in the Vestal High School lobby as friends and family cheered her on.
Grace was a leading offensive player her senior year with 17 goals, 13 assists and 47 points. She helped her team win a 2022 New York State Field Hockey Championship, as well as scoring Regional and Sectional championships in 2019, 2021 and 2022! Grace was selected to the Section IV All-Star Team her junior and senior years and served as Vestal’s Field Hockey team captain this year. She was named to the 2023 Press & Sun Elite All-Start Field Hockey team and the 2023 All-State Field Hockey team. In addition, Grace spent two years playing Varsity Girls Lacrosse for the Golden Bears.
