Free Screening of "Sreenagers" at Vestal High School


Are you a parent of a tween or teen and concerned with digital screen time? Are you frustrated with trying to help your children find digital balance in their lives? Is their screen time impacting your family life?

Join us for a special screening of the documentary “
Screenagers: Growing up Digital in the Digital Age” from 7 – 9 p.m. on November 1, 2016, in the Vestal High School Auditorium.  This timely topic is geared towards parents and their tween/teen-age children (ages 8-18 years). Viewers will come away with ideas to help your family and yourself become more aware of the perils and possibilities of the digital age.

Sponsored by the Vestal School Foundation, this special event is free of charge. The evening will begin with the viewing of the documentary and will also include a panel discussion with the opportunity for a question-and-answer session. Our panelists will include:

  •         Dr. Peter Gerhardstein (professor, researcher in cognitive and brain sciences)
  •          Dr. Leann Lesperance, MD (pediatrician and professor)
  •      Dr. Jason Ohler (writer, speaker and professor)
