Do you know a Vestal Central School District alumnus who continues to exemplify the Vestal tradition of excellence? The Vestal Hall of Fame Committee is seeking nominations for the 2018 Hall of Fame.
Candidates should be at least 10-year graduates of the Vestal Central School District who have received local, regional, national or international recognition in one or more areas, including educational, professional, charitable or community support, athletics or the arts.
Submitting a candidate for nomination does not mean the candidate will be inducted in the next Hall of Fame. Only three candidates per year are typically inducted, and the Hall of Fame Committee reviews all applications and makes the final decision on who is to be selected for induction.
Nominations can be submitted to the Hall of Fame Committee by mailing a completed nomination form and two letters of recommendation to Vestal Hall of Fame Committee at 201 Main Street, Vestal, NY, 13850. Nomination forms can be found on the “Alumni Info” page of the district website,
www.vestal.k12.ny.us. Look for the link in the left menu of the Alumni Info web page that reads “Hall of Fame Nomination Form.”
Self-nominations will not be considered. Nomination forms for candidates not selected for induction are kept on file for five years and will be considered in subsequent years by the Hall of Fame Committee.
