For a fantastical, magical time, don't miss Vestal Middle School's production of "Seussical, Jr!"

From the Jungles of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, join us for a fantastical time at “Seussical, Jr.,” scheduled for April 27 – 29 at Vestal Middle School. Presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI), performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. on April 27 and 28, and 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, 2018.

Over 40 student actors from Vestal Middle School will take the stage of the African Road Auditorium for an exciting adventure with Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, The Cat in the Hat, Jojo, Mayzie, Yertle the Turtle and more. They will be directed and choreographed by Elaine Laramee, with musical direction by Taleah Jernigan. This musical is a compilation of over a dozen Dr. Seuss books intertwined into one performance, and a timely lesson about the importance of tolerance, relationships and doing the right thing.

Tickets are on sale now, and are $8 each for adults and $6 for students and senior citizens. To reserve tickets, use the online

You can mail your payment to "Vestal Middle School, Attn: Mrs. Laramee, 600 South Benita Blvd., Vestal, NY 13850. Please make checks payable to "Vestal Central Schools," and mail payment before April 23. Ticket orders will be numbered and processed on a first-come, first-served basis.


To purchase tickets in person, the Box Office will be open from 6 - 8 p.m., on Wednesday, April 11, and Wednesday, April 18. You can also email the Box Office to order tickets at Online or emailed ticket orders for which payment has been received can be picked up during Box Office hours on April 11 and 18, or at the Will Call table the night of the performance. (Will Call opens one hour before each show time.) Tickets will also be for sale at the door one hour prior to each performance, providing seating is not sold out.
