Information on the proposed Capital Improvement Project
We will be asking residents to authorize a Capital Improvement Project that will benefit students and staff throughout the district. The vote is scheduled for December 12, 2017, and polls will be open from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. at the district's five elementary schools. The proposed measures will promote the safety and security of our school environment and enrich Vestal's educational setting. In addition, 60 percent of this project will be reimbursed by New York State in the form of state building aid. For an overview of this project, which includes site work, interior upgrades and building system updates or repairs, click the link below that reads "Capital Improvement Project Proposal." There are also display boards available in the lobby of each school detailing the improvements proposed for that building.
