Vestal Golden Bears' Soccer Teams "make strides" with community fundraiser!

Three Vestal High School Varsity Soccer players, twin sisters and a male teammate, pose for a photo in their black, white and pink "Kickin' It For a Cure" tee-shirts at the Making Strides against Breast Cancer Walk in October 2017.
The Vestal High School Girls and Boys Varsity and Junior Varsity soccer teams, their coaches and family members, along with several Modified Soccer team players, all stepped up for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on October 15 at Binghamton's Recreation Park.

Kickin' It For a Cure!
By walking as a combined team, the Golden Bear Soccer players helped bring awareness to this event, celebrated breast cancer survivors, and also paid tribute to loved ones lost to this disease. Altogether, the combined teams raised $1,900 for the American Cancer Society, which will go toward local programs to assist individuals undergoing treatment for breast cancer, as well as toward research to help find a cure.
