A senior
member of the Vestal High
School varsity field hockey team,
Bella Rosas will be signing her
letter of intent accepting
a scholarship to Division
II Limestone
College in Gaffney, South Carolina.
The signing will take
place at 3 p.m. on Monday,
May 7, in the Vestal High School lobby.
Bella,
the daughter of Scott
and Amy Rosas, scored five
goals as a starter her senior
year at Vestal. Her prior athletic
career was spent at Cortland High
School, where she played
two years of varsity field hockey and one year
of varsity
volleyball. At Cortland, Bella assisted
the Purple Tigers to Section III All League status,
and to the New York
State Class B Final. At
Vestal, she helped the Golden
Bears Field Hockey squad
capture a 2017 Section IV
championship and the 2017 Regional
Championship.
A three-year
Scholar Athlete and honor-roll student, Bella plans to
major in Athletic Training when
she starts at Limestone College in
the fall.
