Students use FOSS Science Kits, rolled out at the beginning of the school year, to make explorations of many different scientific principles. This "hands-on" approach to learning is very popular with them and provides an opportunity for students to "find" the answer themselves, rather than having it given to them.
FOSS - Full Option Science System - was developed
at The Lawrence Hall of Science at the University of California, Berkley, using National Science Foundation grants.
